WAYFINDING

Wayfinding is the process by which one navigates their way to and back from destinations.
The development of a wayfinding strategy helps us by greeting, explaining and directing using various
methods that are predetermined and encourage us from the first instance we realise we need to make a journey. Wayfinding enables choice in a controlled manner.

BUILDING IDENTITIES

Buildings need to be identified and communicate the options available to the user in a variety of ways.
The design of the signs, maps and wayfinding tools will give a building a unique identity and usability that works in harmony with the architecture and building use.
This always enhances the visitor experience, creating a better image of the building and organisation.

LEGISLATIVE RECOMMENDATIONS

Legislation changes over the past years highlight real needs to make our buildings accessible by users
with special mobility, visual, cognitive and hearing requirements.
(Click here for DDA, BS and Chartermark info) This has always been a major factor in our work.
All projects take on best practice, but go further, looking at the whole usability system and access for all
.
